Abdullah AlBaker

The Founder and CEO of “AlBaker & Associates” Law Firm in Kuwait. His journey in the legal domain began in 2003 as a trainee under the Loyac training program. During this period, he received legal training at the office of Meshari Al Ghazali, specializing in commercial and investment disputes and contracts on both local and international fronts. Abdullah’s dedication and commitment led him to continue his training until 2006.

In 2007, Abdullah graduated from Kuwait University and subsequently became a registered lawyer in the Kuwaiti Lawyers Association. He further honed his legal skills as a lawyer in Al Ghazali’s office until 2015. Following his extensive experience, Abdullah embarked on a new chapter in 2015 by establishing his legal firm, “AlBaker & Associates Law Firm.”

His firm specializes in diverse legal areas, including business, commercial transactions, investments, IT, technology, and sports. Abdullah’s expertise encompasses handling contracts, disputes, and transactions, both locally and internationally. Through his specialization, he provides valuable services, advice, and support, contributing to the growth of the commercial, SME, IT, and sports sectors in Kuwait.

Abdullah AlBaker’s notable achievements and roles include:

• Graduating from Kuwait University and becoming a registered lawyer in the Kuwaiti Lawyers Association in 2007
• Completing Arbitration courses in front of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in 2014.
• Serving as an Arbitrator in front of the National Court of Arbitration (NCAS) in Kuwait in 2014.
• Acting as an Arbitrator in front of the Kuwaiti Lawyers Arbitration Center in 2015.
• Assuming the role of General Secretary of the Kuwait Association for Protecting Public Funds (KAPPF) in 2014
• Serving as a Board member of the Sports Arbitration Center, Kuwaiti Lawyers Association from 2017 to 2020.
• Becoming an Arbitrator in front of the National Sports Arbitration Tribunal (NSAT) in 2020.
• Acting as an Arbitrator in front of the Commercial Arbitration Center, Kuwait, in 2020.
• Becoming the Chairman of the Kuwait Association for Protecting Public Funds (KAPPF) in 2022.
• Serving as an Arbitrator in front of the Capital Markets Authority, Kuwait in 2023.
• Achieving the status of an Approved Licensed practitioner for Litigation, Arbitration, entities incorporation, and legal consultation in front of DIFC courts, Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) in 2023.
• Serving as an Arbitrator in front of the London Court for International Arbitration (LCIA) in 2023.
• Acting as an Arbitrator in front of the Qatar Chamber in 2023.
• Abdullah is a legal and entrepreneurial mentor at Mohammad Bin Salman foundation “MISK” and Zain Incubator “ZINC”.
